The Key’s Under the Mat.
Last year, I had the opportunity to work alongside Mike Hewson Industries to take part in his “ The Key’s Under the Mat” exhibiton in the Naala Badu building of the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
My work was scattered around in obvious and sometimes hard to find places. Mike’s process and vision was a breath of fresh air, not only for me, but also the stained glass medium due to its uncoventional manner.
It’s no boundary and no rules or regulation approach gave me a lot of confidence in the materials and enabled me to explore the nature without so much worrying about precise and articulated manufacturing.
